I just recieved my denial letter today. I'm so defeated. I scored a 79% on the TEAS V and had A's and 2 B's. It is supposedly a points system, and I say supposedly because I thought I was in, I really did

ok, So I learned that my school's acceptance letters are going out wednesday june 1st, I'm nervous and excited at the same time but I am scared because I dont know when all of my health records will be due, I have to start over from scratch because my pediatricians office destroyed my vaccination records, my school does not have them or the health dept. and my mom lost them. I hope they give me enough time to get all that done, they dont tell you what is required just post it will be in the letter. I hate not knowing, and I got CPR certified for health care providers, I hope that was the correct certification. I'm just frustrated and anxious, if anyone could give me some insight on this it would greatly be appreciated. I feel like everything is kept a mystery!! Congrats to everyone getting accepted too!! :yeah:

I have been accepted into nursing school for Fall 2011. I'm a little nervous because in addition to my nursing courses I have to take my science classes. During the Fall semester I will taking Anatomy and Physiology I with 2 other nursing courses and during the spring I will be taking the 2nd Anatomy and Physiology with only one nursing course and that one has a clinical lab with it. I'm just hoping I can keep up with my nursing courses as well as the A&P.

Yes it looks like we have similar situations. I forgot to mention I have to take Microbiology in my second year however I plan on taking it during the summer semester before we go back in the Fall so I can mainly focus on the nursing classes. I'm sure you will be able to keep up, have faith. We all made it this far and I'm sure we will succeed.

I'm plan on purchasing two NCLEX books and a HESI book because it was recommended. My aunt who just graduated told me to do 100 NCLEX questions a day to help get me prepared. My school has a Transition Week from Aug 15-19 for the nursing students that we all have to attend. I guess I will get alot of my questions answered and also help me get a feel for everyone else attending the program.
