I am applying to DePaul's MENP program for next Fall. I am wondering if anyone can tell me the ratio of applicants to available spots. I have just over a 3.2, I have not so great grades in anatomy, phys, and micro (2.5-3.5) and have no chem on my transcripts yet. Do I have to take it before I apply, or will my ap be considered without chem?
I am also taking a GRE prep course and considering submitting my GRE scores if they are exceptional even though my GPA would waive this. Good idea?
I have volunteer experience and have been working in health care for about 5 years, I want to persue hospice which I feel may be a less competitive route to go and may stand out in my personal statement against a whole lot of pediatrics/adult np goals.
For those who have gotten in, what else should I do to strenghten my application?
Thanks!!

First off, welcome to the site. There are a number of DePaul threads active in the Illinois Nursing Programs discussion board, which you'll find under the "Region" tab at the top of the page.
Briefly - finish your prereqs. The next time DePaul will accept applications is in the Spring for Fall 2011, you should be able to get at least one chem course in beforehand. Getting an A in Chem I and having Chem II listed as In-Progress looks a whole lot better than having no chemistry on your transcript at all.
