Hi,
I recently submitted my application to Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing for this fall. Who is with me? I'm so excited yet nervous. I hope I get in. Anyone got and acceptance letter ye?

I logged in my page doesn't show the book list it still comes up blank on that tab. Maybe in the next few days it will be updated. But wow that's a pricey list... I'm going to sit down this weekend and figure out which program I'm still leaning towards BHSN but GWCC isn't bad I heard pros and cons from both sides.

Yes but on Abe books or amazon they're less than half the price. Don't go by those numbers

The community college book package is about $600-$700 as well. They are all that price when you go through the school. Amazon is your best bet for sure
Is this the med/surg textbook everyone had on their list? When I looked it up by isbn number it came up with a different covered book but when I looked up the edition and title with authors this is what came up...
Ya well it's two volumes
Okay thank you!
No prob. Ya two separate books unfortunately

For those expecting to hear back from BHSON , I spoke to someone and she said that letters are being sent out this week whether you are accepted, denied , or wait listed and there is no deadline . The system might not be updated fast enough regarding the status of your application . Also , only 120 students will be accepted.

I didn't know BHSON has a waitlist too
Yes they do but it's usually not a long as the community college wait list because Bridgeport only wait lists people who they see as being good enough to be accepted but there were better applicants in front of them. It's much more fair than the community college wait list. That admissions process is outdated and extremely unfair to people. So if you get wait listed for Bridgeport it's a good thing.
If I don't get accepted at BHSON I'm all set to start at Southern and get my degree in Public Health. Since I already have an associate in Liberal Arts and Sciences, I will start as a junior. I feel better now. Good luck to those are waiting with me for their acceptance letters!
