Admission to BHSON 2014

Hi,

I recently submitted my application to Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing for this fall. Who is with me? I'm so excited yet nervous. I hope I get in. Anyone got and acceptance letter ye?

Nope. But I paid my deposit on Friday. My letter said it can take 2 weeks.

Just received my acceptance letter today, will be sending in my deposit tomorrow. Cant wait to meet everyone. I'm so excited, this was my first choice for programs, I heard they have a great nursing program. :)

I was accepted In January and received my letter on a Friday afternoon. Sent my deposit overnight via Fed Ex the next day and mine still has not changed over to student yet but I did receive a letter today asking if I wanted the day or night program.

Me too Chris. My status has been under review since 2/25. I have a co-worker who recently finished the program and she stated she didn't receive her decision till April solo there is still hope (smile).

Does your co-worker have any input on the program? I heard its really good but I always like to hear from people who know someone who has been in the program. They probably send out acceptance letters as late as April because you only have 10 days to get your deposit back, maybe the ones who don't get it back in time open spots for others. They have a day and partial night one( only for the first year) was trying to figure out which one to do...

Okay I was just curious I dropped my deposit off a few weeks ago after I recieved my acceptance letter, and my status has not changed to student yet. But on my applicant page it does state that the deposit was received.

I'm still waiting on a decision as well! (still under review). My guess is what you are suggesting that some of us qualify and they like us but just don't have room left and a are waiting to see who brings in the deposit. I would be happy to wait but I have one issue. I will be registering for classes on the 1st. If I make it in I would register to do one set of classes. If I don't I would register for a different set of classes. This puts me in a bind I don't want to be in. Please hurry BHSN.

My co worker said it was an excellent program - they focus on building clinical skills whereas other programs may focus on theory; she choose the accelerated option and successfully completed the program.

I actually work in two different hospitals, coincidentally I have co-workers in both facilities that went thru the program, and both of them really enjoyed the program and have successfully passed their boards on the first try after completing BHSON.

I work at yale on a surgical floor been there almost 3yrs have great references and essay . All i have left is microbiology like coachremson said i hope we know soon cause i have to register too.
