Admission to BHSON 2014

Hi,

I recently submitted my application to Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing for this fall. Who is with me? I'm so excited yet nervous. I hope I get in. Anyone got and acceptance letter ye?

Hi i am new to this whole thing but i have been reading all of the posts from people who have been accepted for fall 2014 and those who are still waiting for their acceptance letters. I received my acceptance letter at the end of january after being under review since the end of december. I was a nervous mess waiting for the letter after the status changed from "application under review" to "decision letter sent" i am so happy to see all of the posts from people who have also been accepted. This place seems like a great way to meet everyone before orientation in june!

I just paid my deposit today. Was trying to decide the day or night program, I ended up going with the day program. I have heard nothing but good things about BHSN. Cant wait to meet everyone and maybe have some study groups.

I chose the day program as well. Where did you take your pre-reqs? I heard amazing things about the program too. One of my best friends went to school there and she loved it. She said we are hands on and in clinical the first week as opposed to the Community College programs where you have to wait a whole month and then you are just in a convalesent home for two weeks and then by the time you get into the hospital your semester is almost over. I can't wait until we get our information packets in May!

When did you send your application in and when did it say the application went under review?

The last week of January. It went in review march 4th.

I think it took a little less than a month for my application to go from under review to decision letter sent. It should be changing very soon!

I applied to QU too and my application is still under review. But BHSN is my first choice.

Do you already have an undergrad degree? Did you apply for their Accelerated BSN program?

No i applied for their BSN. I dont have a undergrad degree
