Many reasons. But first I would like to say that I was all set to pick bhsn but I found out the tuition was a lot more. Also all my pre reqs and co reqs I paid out of pocket and it would just be stupid of me not to be able to get my associates degree after I paid thousands of dollars for all those classes and put in all the hard work. This year I am eligible for financial aide because I turn 24 and will be independent (according to the government even though I've been on my own since I was 18.) And northwestern is a lot closer to me than bridgeport so I won't have to pay as much in gas as well. Bhsn from what I hear is an amazing program but at the end of the day the cc program is a better option for me:) good luck to all of you in the same boat...I know it's a hard decision but whatever you decide it will work out :)

For anyone who gets waitlisted...I found out Monday that I got into ct community college program at northwestern I will be giving up my seat at bhsn today! Good luck to all of you:)

I am still waiting for my status to change over to student...I dropped my deposit off the first week of March and also picked the day program

Okay I was just curious I dropped my deposit off a few weeks ago after I recieved my acceptance letter, and my status has not changed to student yet. But on my applicant page it does state that the deposit was received.

Has anyone who has been accepted and put their deposit down been able to log in as "student" yet?

How were your grades and teas?! I only have a 3.4 nursing gpa, 78.7 on teas and I got an A in ap1. I know how competitive it is and it's making me worry!

Yes I am!! I applied to Bhsn and northwestern ct comm college! Feeling very anxious/nervous! I applied i end of January and my application went "under review" a few days ago!
