Admission/Acceptance to Georgia Regents/Georgia Health Sciences

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

Hello! I just joined and couldn't find any other thread that had anything about admission stats or anything for Georgia Regents (formerly Georgia Health Sciences) and I am so nervous about getting into the BSN program, I applied with my first choice in Athens, and second as Augusta.. I have a 3.7 and got an 86 on the TEAS V and was wondering if anyone knew if that was competitive or what your stats were?!

HELLPPPPPPP :nailbiting:

Welcome Cody!

Thank you! Look forward to sharing info with everyone

Hello everyone. New to the site and just wanted to throw my input in here. I got accepted in fall BSN program at the Augusta campus. As far as I know, the nursing department is still trying to get everything together so not much action is taking place and they say just to hold off a little longer before we hear from them. As for me, I am having trouble finding somewhere to live down there. I live 4 hours away, no nobody else who is going to GRU, and I'm a male. Three things that are slowing me down as far as finding a roommate. If anyone has any leads to help me out there, that would be great. I went on to the Residence Life website to apply for on-campus housing but the applications were not available. Thanks for any help in advance.

Welcome Cody! I hear that Forrest Hills has some good prices.

I thought there was another member on here that was looking for a roommate in Augusta as well...

Hello all!

I have been following this page since Feb but never registered until now. I will be attending in the Fall in the Augusta campus. To the person who needed housing, the application online doesn't work. You can call the housing phone number, and ask them to send you a link. They will only do so through your gru email. If you don't have access to it, look up your netid, and your password it the first letter of your last name (capital), your full social security number (no dashes), and an exclamation point at the end. Then log into that email, and apply for housing through the link sent to you by the housing (call them if you don't have it). Also, I know we are supposed to fax our immunizations 90 days prior, but by that logic it should have been done by May 19th. I am a little late, do you think this would be a problem since classes start August 19th? Lastly, all of you have been wonderfully helpful on this page. So THANK YOU!

Hey everyone! Online student health should be working now. =) The website is osh.gru.edu

Welcome pursing!

I have been browsing online for nursing shoes. I am only browsing for now given we haven't been provided what exactly we should buy. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions of good brands or bad brands. I need a good arch support shoe.

I know during one of the information sessions they said the shoes need to be all leather with no mesh and no holes. Just kind of going off of that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hey JB I found this in the handbook. The dress code is around the middle.

Did everyone get the email about the open house and when we will be allowed to register?

Yes I received it Wednesday night, as well as the switch to the POUNCE system email last night. Nothing new that I saw from what was spoken through the Webinar a few weeks ago. Hopefully the next few emails will give us new answers....

Does anyone know where we go to see dates for parking passes and ID's?
