Adelphi Fall 2010 Applicants post here

I applied to Adelphi for fall 2010 I'm just waiting to take the TEAS, I'll take it about April when they post the new dates up. I'm currently at QCC, applying there also, not sure that I want to attend, if I get into both I think I'll choose Adelphi, if I get enough financial aid and scholarships because it will take me the same time to get my ASN as my BSN because I have all other classes and it would save me time from having to go back to get BSN. I'm going to apply to molloy as well just as a backup.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. The only thing I can say about this school is they get back to you quickly as to whether you were accepted or not. Are you a transfer student?

I am a transfer student. I'll be graduating this month from Stony Brook. I just wnat to know where I'm headed after graduation, and nursing school has always been my goal. You've been very helpful! GOod luck to you!!

I'm a transfer student as well, no degree, just a bunch of credits. I took the TEAS on Saturday May 15th, and recieved my results already. I have a 3.53 cummulative GPA, scored an 81.6% on the TEAS.. but have a C+ in AP I and a B in AP II .. what are my chances of acceptance ?

I got an 80% on the TEAS. Took the test on March 28 (I believe), and received acceptance 3 days later. Here is a post i made on another thread about my grades:

I did not put every single class I have taken in the school because I have over 74 credits right now and I am in a community college. By the end of this semester I should have 86 credits (I only needed 65 to get my degree here)."

Yeah I don't have a degree. I just finished up my 3rd year in school so I have a lot of credits, right around 72 as well. English, math and psych grades are pretty much the same as mine. Anatomy like I said, C+ and B. Didn't take micro or chem yet, and they are waiting on my exam results. I spoke to admissions today and they said that it'll take a few weeks to receive my scores ? I found out my scores on Wednesday, that's wierd you found out after 3 days. Still waiting for spring grades to get to Adelphi.. Thanks for the help !

I am a second degree student and I applied to Adelphi. The only downside for a second degree student like myself is that the nursing program doesn't have an accelerated program. So it would take me 2 years to complete the program to receive a BSN degree whereas if I go to another nursing program...it would take from 12 months to 18 months to complete depending on the program. I really like Adelphi...I just wish that they had a degree program for those of us who want to get our second degree.
