I've been burnt out before, I've hated my job before and needed a change, but I've never wanted to not be a nurse.
And now here I am, exhausted, burnt out, deep in compassion fatigue. The conspiracy theory antivax response to the pandemic has sapped me of my last **** to give for the community. I've contemplated looking in to case management or other non-patient centered nursing jobs and I just don't want to care for people who care more about their pErSoNaL fReEdOmS more than the fact that the social contract has ALWAYS required limits to autonomy to protect the group.
I don't really know where to go from here but looking for suggestions that can take my nursing experience/BSN and unrelated BA and require minimal education/training before on-the-job learning.

My daughter is selling insurance and works from home. A lot of companies have kept with the work from home option. She says she is on track to make between 80 and $90,000 this year oh, she's only been doing it two and a half years

I have seriously thought of this myself. I am so very tired. But people can be such a-hats on the phone too. I don't know how well I would do in sales.

A lot of her job is being interested in the potential customer, expressing concern, all of the attributes that help nurses interact with patients. I have heard her talk to people when she came for a week to my house. I thought to myself, "She has a good bedside manner!".
