Actually passed the NCLEX-RN even though PV shown a CC page?

Published

I'm from Louisiana and I took the NCLEX-RN yesterday (4/27/11) at 8 am in Shreveport. When I got home I stumbled upon the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT). I now regret this b/c it's only caused me to have more anxiety than before. The "trick" is as follows:

Sign in at the Pearson Vue website. When your info page comes up, make sure it says "Delivery Successful" to the right before preceeding. Then, click "register" to the left. You will enter some location and school info. Next, here's the "trick": If it doesn't go any further and gives you an error message, then you MOST LIKELY passed. If it continues, letting you enter credit card (CC) info, then MOST LIKELY you failed.

Well, I got the CC page no matter how many times I tried, so according to this trick, I failed. BUT due to anxiety and obsession, I have read hours and hours of ppl's posts on this topic, and there are NUMEROUS positive results where the person got the error message and really did pass the test. I have found a handful of posts where they got the CC page and actually did fail. But then, everyone that has posted something about getting the CC page and actually passing always says it happened to someone they know, not to themselves which makes their statements a bit unbelievable.

If you had the CC page pop up but actually passed, please respond on here. If you found a post where the person passed despite recieving the CC page, please list the link.

I don't want anyone posting on here that they got the "blessed" error message and did pass. Congrats, but there are THOUSANDS of these posts. What makes this "trick" more believable are the ones who got to the CC page and actually passed/fail, or they got the "blessed" error message and they failed the NCLEX. This is what will bust this "trick," and it will shine some truth on the topic giving hope to others like me who exprienced this. I would like to find a trend here if there is any, so please list the time, date, location of taking the NCLEX and which NCLEX exam you took. Was it the RN or the LPN/LVN version?

I will post tomorrow if I passed or not.

Thank you for reading and good luck to everyone!

I took the NCLEX-RN on June 28, 2011. I'm too sad right now, I did a lot of research regarding PVT. But it seems almost all of the feedbacks were telling that PVT is really accurate. I have tried the trick and feel very frustrated right now because I got into cc page, it made feel very depressed. I haven't received my report yet but still hoping and praying that despite of these positive PVT feedbacks and comments that there will be a miracle. I hope I will pass the NCLEX exam. Please pray for me. Thank you! God bless us all

Nope, it was LESS anxiety for me knowing before hand my results by the PV "trick." This is a true and accurate way of knowing the results to the NCLEX. The first time, I was skeptical b/c I didn't want to believe that I failed. But just in case of it being true, I started studying that much earlier. The second time of passing, I did the "trick" and of course, it gave me the good pop up. I was able to sleep at night and relax during the day b/c I knew it was true!

Now, I paid the $7.99 to get my unofficial results to prove to my friends and family that I did indeed pass, but of course I had known this 2 days prior due to the PV "trick."

A week ago, I played dumb by not telling telling her I already knew of this "trick," but a Grambling University (Louisiana) nursing instructor told me about this and how to do it. So, just think, if it wasn't REAL, then why is there testimony after testimony of this and a nursing instructor saying the same??? Don't doubt it! It's is just how the PV system works!

So, to those who are reading this now, looking for answers, this is a TRUE way of knowing your results on the day of taking the test.

I just failed my first time. How did you prepare for your second time around?

Thanks!

Nurse_Heather...I too have been obsessing over hundreds of emails and replies on Google to check to see if anyone passed even if they got the "cc page" on the Pearson Vue website. My stomach is in knots because I just took the test and I got home and tried the PVT and got the cc page! I am horrified and I don't want to believe it. I am trying to have some kind of hope that it's all a mistake and that when I get my official results...it will say "PASS". I am so upset. Please...someone tell me that there is still hope. =(

I didn't want to believe it...but it's true. =( I got my quick results early this morning and I failed. My heart was racing and there it was...FAIL. It was so hard...but thankfully I accepted it by assuming already when I did the PVT that I failed. I gave myself a day to cry my heart out and be all depressed...but I'm back at it...studying again. I won't give up! I will pass! I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks again for the support! =) God bless!
