  1. Hi Yaliz! I live in Hawaii. Yes...we can do it! We will pass! I too am also doing the Kaplan Qbank questions. I alternate the text books everyday...doing the Kaplan Strategies book, La Charity, and Exam Cram. I also downloaded a free NCLEX-RN questions app on my iPhone and do that when I'm on the go and don't have my books with me. I have everything I need to pass...all I need now is to believe in myself and believe that God will help me pass! He will help us pass! =) We have to have faith. =) Good luck to you...to us! Keep us posted! I take my exam in a few weeks...so hopefully I'll be posting good news then. =) 808BSNRN...hopefully soon.
  2. Hi linsmirn! Congratulations! Best wishes with your seasonal job! Take care! 808BSNRN...hopefully soon.
  3. Hi Alejandro! Thank you for your post! It was very inspiring indeed...and I also read Bryan's post and it brought tears to my eyes! Thank you both for reminding me that "With God, all things are possible!"- Matthew 19:26. I failed the NCLEX-RN the first time around at 265 questions, and I have been looking for support to help me through my grieving process. I cried so hard! I prayed to Him before the test and cried so hard...asking God to help me pass the test...only to find out 265 questions later and doing the PVT trick that I failed. I was so devastated! But...thank God for the love and support from family and friends, I was able to get right back into it and start studying again. Reading Bryan's post helped me understand that God has plans for me. "I know that you have plans for me. The plans to prosper and not to harm me and give me hope and a future!" - Jeremiah 29:11. This is the hope and support I was looking for! Reading posts like this and being re-directed to Him and believing in Him! Thank you again Alejandro. Congratulations on passing the NCLEX-RN. I take mines in a few weeks and I know that God will help me pass! God bless! 808BSNRN...hopefully soon
  4. Hi Bryan, RN! Thank you so much for this inspiring post! I am so touched by your post that it almost brought me to tears ( I would've started crying already but I had to control my emotions since I'm here at Starbucks studying and there are a lot of people around me...LOL).... Thank you so much for giving me some hope. I failed the NCLEX-RN exam the first time around at 265 questions...and I have been searching for some kind of support to help me get through the grieving process. Lo and behold, I find your post which has directed me to Him! "I know You have plans for me. The plans to prosper and not to harm me and give me hope and a future" - Jeremiah 29:11. This reading has opened my eyes to understand that I need to trust in God and pray to Him and allow Him to help me believe that, "With God...all things are possible!" - Matthew 19:16 Thank you so much again Bryan for your inspiring post and congratulations for passing the NCLEX! I take my boards in a few weeks for the second time and I will continue to study and PRAY to HIM that he will help me pass! God bless you! 808BSNRN...hopefully soon
  5. linsmirn...I don't know when you are taking your test...but let me know if this study plan works out for you because I am studying exactly that same study materials as you are and also only studying for 2-4 hours a day...some days up to 6-8 hours. I think I over-did it the last time and over-studied...practicing up to 300-400 questions a day instead of 150 questions as recommended. Anyway...good luck! 808BSNRN...hopefully soon
  6. Hi linsmirin! I know what you mean...I got near passing on everything and one above passing. I was like..."so...I guess I have to study everything". The first time around I was just practicing questions....but this time, I am writing down the questions/answers on the questions I get wrong and reading over the content in those areas. Good luck to you...to us! 808BSNRN...hopefully soon
  7. Hi Yaliz! I'm sorry to hear that you didn't pass. I too failed with 265 questions. I was so depressed and cried my eyes out when I did the PVT trick and it brought me to the credit card page. But...we must move on and re-focus! We shall not be discouraged! We can do this! We will pass! I am currently studying the Kaplan Strategies 2011-2012 book, La Charity, and Exam Cram. I am practicing the questions in all the books and writing down the questions/answers I get wrong so I can focus on my weakness and read up on it and try to understand on the content. I am finding myself more confident this time around...really trying my best to focus and tell myself...I WILL PASS. This is what we need to do in order to pass...we need to tell ourselves that we will pass...and most of all...PRAY. He will not fail us if we work hard and try our best. Good luck Yaliz and keep us posted! I know you will pass the second time around! We both will! =) 808BSNRN...hopefully soon.
  8. Hi Jewls! I totally understand what you are going through. I did the Kaplan review and studied hard and prayed so hard...just to find out after 265 questions that I didn't pass. I was so upset. I gave myself 2 days to cry and try to figure out what went wrong. I know a lot of it was because I have really bad test anxiety...I was even stumbling into the testing center and dropping my things on the ground. I was so nervous. But...I'm trying so much now the second time around to stay focused. I am studying the Kaplan NCLEX-RN 2011-2012 Strategies, Practice, and Review. The first time around, I was only practicing the questions, but I find this book to be very helpful in helping in breaking the questions down, help you prioritize and choose the right answer. A lot of people I know that passed studied from this book...as well as from Exam Cram and Saunders. We can do this! We shall never give up! We will pass! We have to trust in God that he will help us become nurses! =) 808BSNRN...hopefully soon...
  9. I didn't want to believe it...but it's true. =( I got my quick results early this morning and I failed. My heart was racing and there it was...FAIL. It was so hard...but thankfully I accepted it by assuming already when I did the PVT that I failed. I gave myself a day to cry my heart out and be all depressed...but I'm back at it...studying again. I won't give up! I will pass! I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks again for the support! =) God bless!
  10. Nurse_Heather...I too have been obsessing over hundreds of emails and replies on Google to check to see if anyone passed even if they got the "cc page" on the Pearson Vue website. My stomach is in knots because I just took the test and I got home and tried the PVT and got the cc page! I am horrified and I don't want to believe it. I am trying to have some kind of hope that it's all a mistake and that when I get my official results...it will say "PASS". I am so upset. Please...someone tell me that there is still hope. =( 808BSNRN
