  1. Hi! Thats awesome congrats! How did you study the second time around? Im planning to take it mid september. I received my letter late July and I had near passing and one below passing (physiological adaptation). Thanks for your input :)
  2. Hello, Thanks for replying! Im in NY where do you live? we can do this together and continue to encourage ourselves! I am also using the books you are using: Im doing Kaplan Qbank during the week and I also make notes on all questions. Until im done with all of them. Then saturdays I do La Charity (3-4chpts) and Sundays I do exam cram practice test and review the questions during the week (250 is alot lol) im also planning to redo what I get wrong. I keep track of all that. Anyway, you are right! We need to continously remind ourselves that WE CAN DO THIS! I'm praying to God every day and night and asking Him to iluminate me when I study and to help me retain everything.
  3. Hi. I just failed my NCLEX last week with 265Q. Your post was VERY INSPIRING! im so nervous to take it again. I'm planning to start studying on Thursday. My retake is in Sept. Im taking kaplan and bought La Charity and exam Cram Q&A book. I'm also going to use the link you gave for the NCLEX 3500. Its perfect bc I have a mac and I was told the NCLEX 4000 CD doesnt work on Mac. Anyway, I have been debating wether to do 100-150 a day and just read on the subjects I got wrong or do 2-3chpts of saunders as well as the 100Q (that seems excessive though) I am waiting for my analysis letter to see my weaknesses. Did the letter help you at all? I see that its very vague right? CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN! And thank you for your post. Hope to hear from you soon!
  4. HI I just failed my NCLEX-RN with 265 Q also. I read your post and feel inspired. I have the kaplan q bank and la charity. But I keep thinking should i also include saunders for content. I mean if i failed at 265 does that mean i should do more content or more questions? PLease give me some pointers because I'm glad im not alone! Thanks! :)
  5. I just failed my first time. How did you prepare for your second time around? Thanks!
  6. Hi I just took mine yesterday 265 Q and I know i failed (PVT went straight to the cc page) Ive cried and cried but I AM NOT GIVING UP! i love reading stories of others who went through and overcame! I wanted to ask you how did you use saunders? Like did you do 2-3chpt a day? Bc im planning to use all the materials you mentioned, I already have the Saunders book, Im buying the La Charity book (i too feel that was my biggest weakness) and I am purchasing nclex 4000 and my friend gave me her kaplan Q bank. Thank you so much for post! :)
  7. That's exactly the plan Im going to do in addition adding NCLEX 4000. Please let me know. How it goes. I too feel that I needed to cut down on my study time bc I was over doing it and maybe thats why I drew a blank! Was the letter that they sent with the analysis helpful?
  8. Yeah Im waiting for the letter and I'm taking this week to relaz and see how to make my study plan.
  9. Thank you so much! How did you approach it the 2nd time?
  10. Thank you for your reply. I am planning to do purchse NCLEX 4000. Yes I know that I needed to perfect those priority questions!
  11. Hi, I just wanted to tell you I took my NCLEX yesterday all of 265 Questions and I got the CC info on PVT. I came across your video on youtube and I think it was God-sent. I am waiting for the official letter of pearson with my analysis. I just wanted to thank you for posting those videos. I'm going to be purchasing the NCLEX-4000 but instead of princeton I have the saunders book and im also using La Charity's book. Now do you think the analysis they sent you helped? Were you "nearly level of passing" on almost everything. I mean since we took the whole thing, doesnt it mean we know content just kept getting application level wrong? I cried and cried yesterday and today and probably will still be down for a few more days but I'm giving myself about a week or so and then is game on! :) I'm going to register again maybe tonight. Theres no way I'll be the one lucky person PVT doesnt work for lol. I too beleive in the prayer you wrote on your youtube video description box. 1st time around I was too stressed , very anxious and worried about what everyone is going to think. Now, im going to keep my rescheduled date private and study just 4-6 hours a day. I would be studying like 8-12hrs (with breaks) but I feel like I forgot it all during the test. And priority was killing me! Anyway please offer me any more tips. I know I can do this. I'm so happy I'm not alone in this! By the way did you find a job in jersey? I live in NY. Thank you!!! -Yaliz
  12. Thank you for your reply. I just feel like if I failed maybe i need content? i just dont know! I definitely need this week to calm down (since i just took it today) because im so upset.
  13. Hi EVERYONE, this is my first time writing a thread. I just took my NCLEX-RN today and did the whole 265 questions! I am positive I failed because I did the PVT and asked me for my credit card information. I have been crying all day and night. I am planning to take a week off and try it again ofcourse! I took Hurst Review and thought it was great it cleared things for me but I felt like I wasn't good at prioritizing questions at all! I did some questions from kaplan book, saunders and hurst Q-review. I was getting anywhere between 50s-70s on practice exams. I am very discouraged and I know is the first night but is there anyone who failed with 265 and then passed? I dont know if I want to spend $500 with Kaplan. I know they send you an analysis so I was planning on reading that and just buying La Charity book that everyone talks about and continue with Kaplan questions. I studied for like maybe 8-10hrs a day with breaks. I probably did too much and just forgot it all! I was very pressured and did not want to let any one down. Please give me tips on how you were resilient to pass the second time after 265 on the 1st! I know God is with me and this will just make me appreciate my license that much more! THank you all!
