ACT/Teas V Test MS schools

Published

Evening All,

I am not sure im placing this under the correct forum.

Just need a little help in making my next move, my best move.

A little about me.. I've been working in Emergency Medicine as Tech for almost 5 years. I'm a recent college graduate, earning my bachelors. I am looking forward to attending Nursing school. However, I have not been able to score a sub-score of 18 on the Math proportion of the ACT. I've taken the ACT 3x in the last 4 months and I've scored 17, on each test. My composite score has ranged from a 18-19. (Not a problem there). Should I test again?

My first choice is the ADN/ BSN program. My last choice will be LPN program.

Should I take the Teas V test?

Wait. Why are you taking the ACT if you've already earned a bachelor degree?

Hi,

From what I have been told and what I've read.. everywhere I'm looking at applying to has asked if I have a composite score of 18 or higher and reading and math sub score of 18 and higher.

I've only ever heard of that being required for first time college students or transfers with less than 24 college credits.
