Apparently none of them articulated a thoughtful reason not to reauthorization the legislation.

Apparently none of them articulated a thoughtful reason not to reauthorization the legislation. 

The bill they voted against is identical to the one they approved in the 1st go-round. So this appears to be a tantrum. This is from huffpost, but watch the video of the fist bumping after the vote. No commentary needed. I would have posted something from fox news, but they don’t seem to be covering this story.

Yes totally. Mat is very unattractive.  And deplorable if the accusations are true. Has he been charged for them yet? If not, whats taking so long? !

What's taking so long?  Maybe they don't have evidence to charge him. 

The investigation has been going on over a year, and no charges.  That seems telling.

It is curious, but there’s no statute of limitations for most sex crimes, so maybe prosecutor is going for airtight?

Or, there is the possibility he didn't do what he's accused of.  You don't seem interested in considering that possobility.

It doesn't seem like it's very complicated case.  There isn't hundreds of witnesses or mountains of evidence to go through.  It shouldn't take two years to bring charges.

We shall see, I suppose.
