Hi there. I am relatively new to Allnurses.com, have been exploring the site for a few weeks and thought it time to post! :) Anyway, I kept reading SO MUCH about Suzanne's plan so I decided to try it out. Not sure if I will beable to do anything past the 1st step due to time constraints (grrr, wish I would have found this site months ago! ) but I'm thinkin' I need to!
I have went thru the first 17 chapters of Saunders and apparently am a COMPLETE nursing idiot! HEEEELP! LOL I have scored about 3 73%'s, 2 80%'s, 1 90% and the rest are, well, unmentionable! I'm feeling very defeated at the moment. Curious as to what anyone else's experience has been? Even though Saunders tells me I'm a nursing idiot (LOL), I love that book. Love how it breaks all the chapters down and the rationales are excellent. I actually look forward to sitting down with it. Great, not only am I a nursing idiot but now I'm a nursing nerd! :chuckle Anyway, anyone have a "Suzanne's Plan" story they want to share?
Good luck to all of you NCLEX exam takers this week.... you can do it!

According to all review courses we are all idiots who don't deserve to walk the face of the earth! Trust me, you'll come out from the exam thinking, "Where the *(&^! did those questions come from, I didn't study any of that stuff!"
And you will pass.
Relax. Take a deep breath. Put the review book away today and go do something fun.
FUN? I have forgotten how to do that over the last few years! You're right... time for some fun today. I'm going to take your advice.... thanks! :)
FUN.......anything enjoyable that does not involve nursing or school.

I have yet to hear of anyone who scores high on any of the review tests. I took the NCLEX 1 time with 76 questions. I never scored much over 85 with the review tests. Consider what you did with your HESI or whichever test you had to take in school as a better indicator as to whether you will pass or not. Thats not to say you shouldnt study if you did well on those, but you will be surprised. Continue to study up until you take your NCLEX. You arent an idiot i guarentee it.

I never got more than a 75 % on those tests. But I passed nclex on 78 questions.
Just keep going through the book and learn all you can. Remember in the long run it isn't so much about what you don't know, but are you willing to always keep learning.

Sorry, but this is not the place to share Suzanne's plan stories or anything having to do with my program. Any discussion about it or questions about it and they need to come to me, and not posted for the world to read.
Thanks for your understanding.
But do be aware that the first tip that is posted is only a review and is not my program, it is never shared on the internet.
Best of luck to you on your exam.

Hi Suzanne,
I don't understand your rationale for the secrecy and if you feel like explaining it I would appreciate it. This isn't intended to be the slightest bit snarky. I know how loved you are here and I'm just clueless I guess. :)
I spent quite a bit of time and research into coming up with the program that I designed. And I do not care to see it used in other programs where the school or teacher is charging for it. Especially since I did the work for it and offer it for free.
Much of what I post gets posted on other sites without my permission, so have chosen not to have anything posted about my program on the internet.
That simple, and it makes it easier for everyone.
