Accepted to Lakeview College of Nursing, Danville Campus!

Hi all, I received my acceptance letter last week for Lakeview College of Nursing, Danville campus. Are there any current or previous students of the program here that can provide me with any advice about the program/most likely employment opportunities after graduation/ etc?

I graduated from this gem of a college and have never looked back...the instructors prepared me well for nursing. I passed my NCLEX with just 75 questions. I have never had a hard time getting employment.

Listen to the instructors and volunteer for anything you can for the experience this is where you will learn basic nursing competence.

Learning how to preform an assessment will take you very far.

The nursing instructors are very competent, up to date and really care.

Because the school is small do not get caught up in the drama that can occur. Like a duck to water just let it slide off , be positive and move forward. You are in a good area in that the hospital is across the street, that there are many clinical experiences...jump in and learn.
