The orientation is 2 phases 1st 3 months of class and clinical then work with the feeder growers and intermediate care babies. After 6 to 12 months phase 2 _vents and oscillators. I love my Merenstein and Gardner Neonatal Nurse textbook and the textbook from my STABLE class. It sounds like you are getting a great orientation. Welcome to the NICU.

My unit had me buy the AACN Core Curriculum for Neonatal Nurses. I would have bought the Merenstein anyway, because I'm a big nerd, but it's just a thought. Congrats on the job!
