I have just been accepted to the Emory BSN nursing program for fall 2009 and I just wanted to know if other accepted students would like us to communicate and help each other prepare for the fall. We can discuss anything from immunization, PDA, housing to financial aid.
I would also like current student and alumni to mentor us in order to make our preparation smoother. Any advice is welcome since you've been there before from what type of stethoscope to which brand of PDA to buy.
I am a very meticulous person and would like every thing to go perfectly that is why I need all the advice that I can get so that come August, we would all be ready and prepared for the challenging two years ahead of us.
Thanks to all who will join the group and to all who will advise us.
Really appreciated.
I got my acceptance letter on december 17. My decision is not posted on OPUS so i don't know if they actually post them there until maybe much later. Have you started your financial aid and css profile applications? I have done all of that and am currently working on my NEAT application and immunizations. Those will be tough to do :).
Nice to hear from you!
I have applied to the bsn program 2010, this is my 2nd time applying i was rejected the first time. I was wondering if any one can tell me if emory has a waitlist for those that are not accepted, if so do they tell you that you are on a wait list and when do you find out if you are accepted.

Oh Jason, you have a lot of waiting, waiting, waiting ahead of you. You will hear whether you got in fairly quickly, I think. However, the financial aid stuff you won't hear about until June of next year.
Bellefemme, I got 2 scholarships that are not listed on their website plus the Dean's. In addition, I got a 2 federal/state grants.
