After what seemed like forever, I finally heard back from the nursing program --- and I'm in! I'm so excited!
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look for nursing scholarships? I've already got financial aid lined up (Stafford loan), but I'd like to find some scholarships to minimize the amount of money I have to borrow. I've already gone the FastWeb route, and it didn't really offer much...
Thanks!

I dont have any scholarship advice I am just doing student loans, but I wanted to say congrats!!! We will have to have a thread come August to find all of us starting in the fall so we can keep track of each other I got my acceptance last month for August after waiting 3 years!
Congrats to you, too!! It feels good to finally know, doesn't it? =) Our program actually starts this summer (June 8th), so I've only got two months to wait. Where are you going?
Yes it does, I was offered an alternate, alternate spot this past spring, I wouldn't know until the first day of school if I were to start and I already planned on taking PathoPhysiology and 3 credit Nutrition this spring. I also have 4 kids so to not know until the first day and line up childcare and loans it just seemed like to much so I turned it down. The RN admissions lady thanked me for putting a lot of thought and consideration into my decision and assured me I would have a place for the fall start *my school starts twice a year*. Even though she told me this I was still so anxious and nervous until I got my acceptance, I was just sure something would happen and it would be delayed, after waiting so freaking long it was surreal. LOL

Check the local hospital auxillary boards and the college itself. Our community college has tons of health professions scholarships.
