Accelerated BSN at UNF and JU

I have applied to the Accelerated BSN program at both UNF and JU for summer '08. Has anyone heard good or bad feedback for either program? Is anyone currently attending either program and would like to give their opinion about what they feel is special about their program? I have had an interview already with JU and now waiting for an interview invite from UNF:bugeyes:. I would like to be well informed before I make a choice, if I have a choice. :wink2: Good luck to all that are still waiting on letters.

Its great to hear from someone in the UNF/JU track. I'm planning on applying to both those programs for summer '09. I'm taking my pre-reqs at FCCJ, starting this summer and then will apply. I'm actually going to attend the UNF BSN info session today. Did you attend one of these? Please keep us updated on your status!!!

I did attend the UNF BSN info session and it was very helpful. Good luck with your classes. I am finishing my last one, Microbiology, this term. I will let you know how things turn out.

Good luck to you with your acceptances and choices! The info session was great last night! They did mention they were printing the interview acceptance invites today. Not sure if they go in the mail today or tomorrow but be on the look out. Let us know!!! Good luck!

Thanks Gretchen for the heads up. It is so exciting! I am so ready for May to be here so I can start the program. We were told that the letters would be sent out around the middle of Feb., so they are true to their word. Which is good because the waiting is the worst. Give me a class or test any day, but don't make me wait too long. Drives me crazy! Let me know if you need any info on profs to take at FCCJ. Email me because we can post names here. I'll let you know when I get my letter.

My letter came today, I got an interview! I'm so excited! :rollThere were about 300 applications for the summer term. The interviews are on March 14. There are only 36 spots for the accelerated program. Cross your fingers and say a prayer for me. I'll let you know how things turn out.

I won't hear from JU until the last two weeks in March. That is when they send out their letters. So now it is another waiting game until March. :bugeyes:

Thanks Julie, I will definally be in touch once the FCCJ class schedule comes out for instructor help! Should be around the first week in March!
