I recently submitted my application for the accelerated BNS program. I saw that other semesters had discussions and I thought it would be nice to start one for us, just to help each other out through the application process.
I looked at past ones when I was filling out my application and found them to be helpful, so hopefully it will be for us.

OMG I literally freaked out! You know how it sends an email saying "____ has replied to the thread..." Then it gives you a little tiny piece of what they say. Mine said: "Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know that admissions has already sent out their decisions"
I immediately freaked out because I was thinkin OMG I didnt get an email that means I didnt get in. lol
Ok now that my stomach is back in place... Do you think that means we could know tomorrow?! Ha! I wish. I wonder because it took them so long to get thru freshman... Omg a million questions are going through my head. Im so anxious! Hey gordon how do you know they sent out freshman admissions??
you know, my supplement says the same thing, but I emailed them about it over a month ago and was told that they had everything they needed for my app. So if that puts your mind at ease at all. I'm so glad we all freak out about the same things… helps me feel less crazy!
just to double check..are we required to send in our high school transcripts and SAT scores? it doesn't say to on their website, but i think i read somewhere that some of you had those marked off..just double checking! freaking out as the deadline is approaching and i haven't heard a thing from NYU.
2nurse1, We do not have to send in HS transcripts or SAT scores. Mines are not checked off either, but no need to worry.
I am wondering if anyone is in the process of completing a prerequisite. If so, have you gotten a request for midterm grades? I am in the middle of microbio but have not recieved a request yet.
I'm taking a bunch of prereqs right now, so I called to ask if they needed midterm reports and the lady said that we do not need to send in any school forms, but they will contact us if they want one. I was told that they accept some applicants on a conditional term but I don't know if they did last time around. I hope they do!
So in short, if you haven't gotten a request for one you don't need to send one in.
