ACC - RRC Spring 2014 start

Hello! I got my acceptance letter to start Spring 2014!! My first choice is to be at RRC & I'm really crossing my fingers I get it... So, I'm going to just go with the idea that I did!! =)

So, I thought I'd start a thread for any of us starting at the same time at RRC! I guess none of us really know yet, but all of us that are hoping for it could band together.

Yay!! I'm crossing my fingers. I hope they send the campus assignments out early.... Wishful?

I hope! I got my acceptance on like the 27th, didn't reply for several hours. I wasn't stalking my email because the nursing website said "acceptance emails will arrive in the first 2 weeks of October", so boo.

I picked rrc, hybrid, cec, evc.

Really hoping for rrc because I live in round rock

I haven't. The rnsg page says (on 9/25) that they would be sent out next week. It's now 10/9, nothing. :/

Is orientation really not until the week before class? I'm too impatient!

I still haven't... Email I got said the 16th we would get another with more info!! Yes, I heard orientation is only a week or two before the semester starts. Are you in skills now?

No. I got in last semester and had to defer. Expecting a baby any day now. Will def need a skills refresher. It's been 6 months off!

Aww!! Congrats!! I have 3 kids, (still can't believe that number, haha, feels like so many). I'm anxiously awaiting the 16th!

It was def a surprise. Never imagined I'd be deferring, not did I think I'd be starting nursing school with a new baby at home.

Oh I totally understand. At least you'll have a couple months to adjust to having a baby before you start in January. Hopefully you have some good help too to support you through!
