ABSN Pace University Fall 2022!!

Hi All!

Figured I'd start a thread for the aspiring Fall 2022 cohort! I haven't seen one as of yet but better late than never. Is anyone applying to Pace for the Fall 2022 semester in NYC? I'm very nervous, I've reached out for recommendations and am hoping to have my personal statement along with my application submitted by the end of week or in the next week and a half latest. Ah it's nerve-racking, I've been chatting nonstop to family about it and they are sick of me at this point so figured I'd come here to get out my nervous jitters!  Where are you all along in the process and are you applying to any other schools?

Yes, you probably got into PACE! On the portal check if you will see, "check status" or check your spam or junk email. If nothing wait 2-3 days to receive the acceptance through your email. Be ready to make another deposit of $300 if you decide to go to PACE. All the best!

I haven’t seen anything yet for the medical clearance either. I just assumed we have to wait until we’re registered for classes. We’ll probably figure it out during the student orientation next month!

Congrats to everyone who has been accepted thus far! I just got my decision and I was waitlisted. It says they are putting me on the one year wait list for the Fall 2022 program, so I'm not sure if that applies to next year or if I will end up having to reapply. I also applied to Mercy so I'm keeping my hopes up for an acceptance from Mercy. All the best to everyone accepted, I won't count myself out just yet on the waiting list so here's to still hoping.

I got the same decision yesterday-I’m going forward with another program since I have to take a prerequisite for it and can’t wait for the decision. That was confusing wording though. I would assume if it was 1 year they would say Fall 2023?

Yes the wording was very confusing. I reread it and it says verbatim "one year program waiting list for Fall 2022". I'm pretty sure now they're referring to the length of the program being that the program is one year. It really should read one-year-program wait list to indicate they're referring to the program specifically and not just a length of time. That's the grammar stickler in me haha. I'm considering signing up for additional prerequisites to qualify for other schools but I'm praying to still get into Mercy or Pace, it's not over til it's over.

Does anyone know how the program itself is like? I haven't been able to find any previous students or reviews about this program. Wish everyone best of luck!
