  1. I agree with what Sica said. I once asked a RN from Hunter and she agreed that the most important thing is passing the NCLEX-RN. I also got accepted into NYU and chose Pace. When considering the costs, it just did not seem worth it to me when both programs can move us forward to become a RN. And with Pace, it will be in less time and less cost too. Of course, everyone's preference is different! It's still your own personal decision. For some things,we also want to follow our heart (as cliche as it sounds). I'm currently in a conflict between Stony and Pace too. My heart is set with Pace but Stony is much cheaper so I can relate to this struggle. Either way, I'm sure it'll work out no matter what decision we make. Good luck! ?
  2. Does anyone know how the program itself is like? I haven't been able to find any previous students or reviews about this program. Wish everyone best of luck!
  3. Hi everyone! Does anyone know how much the entire tuition (excluding fees , housing, insurance) will turn out to be for NYS resident? Currently torn between Stony and another school!
  4. Hi guys! I attached the acceptance letter to the ABSN program for LIU if any of you guys were confused whether you got into the ABSN or traditional program. Hope this helps! I had submitted my deposit but then Pace University accepted me so I decided to love forward with Pace. That should give an extra spot for LIU!
  5. Congrats! I had called the admissions office and they said it's due within 2 weeks. I believe it was a $200 deposit too. Definitely give a call to confirm too! Best of luck!
  6. Hi Katie! I'm also going to be attending Pace. Would you like to connect on social media or email so we can chat more about preparation plans? ? Btw, I only see the curriculum but did you get a chance to find specific books that Pace will be using? I don't think that gets released until we get the syllabus right?
  7. Got an acceptance last Friday and the email said they give us 2 weeks to decide so I'm assuming waitlist results won't be until 1-2 weeks from now? I could be wrong. Just my guess. I related to the stress of waiting for other schools before. I hope we end up being classmates! Best of luck! Either way, we'll all be nurses ?
  8. I think I applied back in October or November 2021. 3.8 GPA. Yes, I sent in everything including the letters of rec and personal statement.
  9. I received my acceptance yesterday 2/25 Friday through email! I'm guessing they are sending out acceptance letters this week. Wish you best of luck! Totally understand the stress of waiting!
  10. I applied a long time ago. I think back in October 2021 for the Spring semester but I had to defer my application to fall 2022 due to financial issues. So maybe for newer applications, they're still reviewing? Thanks for replying!
  11. Hi. I didn't see anyone post a LIU Brooklyn forum for fall 2022 so thought I would start one. Just got my acceptance in the mail today! Just seeing if anyone on the same boat and want to discuss about the program further?
  12. Was your acceptance letter from mail or the portal? Congrats!!
  13. Anyone heard back from Pace yet? I applied very early back in October 2021 but haven't heard back. Someone in another forum told me they got an acceptance for Fall 2022 so kind of anxious. Best of luck everyone!
  14. Did they send you an email, mail or call you about the acceptance? Thanks for sharing with us!
  15. I thought Pace doesn't respond back until after the Feb 1st deadline for fall 2022? When did you hear back from Pace?
