I just wanted to start a topic for applicants of 2012. I've been going through forums trying to find an applicant in my situation, but I have not been successful so far. I figured by starting my own topic, I can get some feedback. :)
In a quick summary here's my status:
Completed applications so far: NJCU, SHU (Georgian Court), PACE Univerisity
BS Biology 2009 GPA 3.3
Medical Assisting Diploma 2011 GPA 4.0 (Certified as well; now working as CMA w/ lots of clinical experience already)
HESI Score 88, Class avg 83

I'm worried about the loans too, since I already have A LOT from my first bachelors. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can get enough loans. Try Hesaa.org, they have good interest rates compared to the banks (not at good as stafford though, I'll probably use both). I used them for my 4 years of college. It will all be worth it- the money will come when we get jobs. Nursing is what I truly want to do, and it definitely beats taking the slow path from associates to bachelors!
Ok now I have questions lol...I wanted to wait until i got accepted before investing more time and money into anything. So i just took a practice test w/o studying anything to see where I'm at and my raw score is a 38 (which is still a "C"), but I need at least a 50 for the credit. Should I even bother registering for the summer class and just study for 5 weeks instead? I would plan to take it at the end of June. Do you think I can make the score if I do study for a month?

I was conditionally accepted too! So exciting since I was about to start an associates program this month which would take 2 years to receive an RN. Do you know how many students will be in our class? Can't wait to get started.:yelclap:
