Hi All!
I have decided to take the plunge and leave my career as a mental health therapist to gain a BSN in Nursing and hopefully move straight into MSN program. Is anyone else applying to Duke in the Fall??
I've been enjoying https://allnurses.com/nursing-humor-share/nursing-school-bloopers-60124.html as a humorous (and terrifying!) diversion while waiting till Monday...
Thanks Twois, Ill check it out.
Heres another interesting read. Its a blog written a couple of years ago by a student in the University of Rochester ABSN program. It definitely gives you a feel for a day in the life...
Does anyone know if there's a specific length limit or formatting requirement for the scholarship essays? I swore there was, but now I don't see one anywhere.
I'm kinda freaked out that decisions might be entirely made right now, but at the same time, oddly relieved... going to try not to spend all weekend thinking about it now!
Yeah I haven't seen any word limits. I am applying for service to the public but I don't really qualify for any others. I haven't written my essay but I will probably keep it at 2 pages double spaced. That was my word limit for just about every essay I've written for schools/scholarships. I haven't written it yet because... it would be a waste of time if I don't get in. But I'll have to work on it this weekend because they are due by 5pm on Feb. 15.... ahh! which is Monday! :-)
