Nursing Students NCLEX

Wow I can't believe all these years come down to one test :o crazy!

Just finished my last question trainer from Kaplan and thought I was gunna die, that is straight torture and consumed my day BUT in the home stretch!

I can't believe I got a 72% on Q trainer 7! All my question trainers have been above 70 except 4 which I got a 68%. I don't get it! I still feel like I don't know enough...ya know??

So nervous for next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ahhh!!!

hm ok I don't know what 'cvs' or 'cgfns' means. literally never heard of it

@KSPS

wow you must be great at nursing style questions, Im sureeee you'll do fine!!!! We both have our test Monday! Good luck! We got this! Gotta be positive :)

@mariah09 Oh I think this is what you and @mariamikaela24 are referring to "CGFNS (Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools)"...

I'm not a foreign nursing graduate so I don't see how its was related to my original post...but good luck

I am taking the NCLEX PN in a week or so.... sooooo nervous. Never feel like I can know enough. Currently watching youtubes of nursing procedures etc.

Good luck!!! Yeah I KNOWW how you feel trust me. Just prepare prepare prepare, the chips will fall where they may.

I always said in nursing school, that if everyday I can rest my head on my pillow and honestly say that I gave 100% that day...then I can never be upset with myself at whatever results I received. So far in my nursing journey it's worked. Graduated with high honors and now my last beast...the NCLEX lol

I think confidence is 1/2 the battle.

Good luck!!

Specializes in LTC, Agency, HHC.

I take my RN next month. My PN shut off after 85, and I passed......but after doing all these ATI questions, I am wondering how in the world are 70 questions enough to test beginning RN knowledge?? (15 of the 85 are pilot questions.) I am so nervous. OP let us know how you do! And good luck!!

I just took the nclex a couple weeks ago and passed with 75 questions. I used ATI for the past 2 years because it was required for the program. It's worth every penny and it mimics the nclex quite well. One of their questions was similar to one I had on the nclex.

Take your time and read the questions there are a lot of distractors. Have faith in yourself!!! Also, you will have no idea if you passed or not when you walk out because its an adaptive test and gets harder as you go if you're doing well.

Wow great job!!!! Hopefully I hope mine shuts off at 75 lol (don't we all) but we shall see. I'm not using ATI so cant relate :/ our school required Kaplan and have been doing it since graduation but hardcore for 3-4 weeks. I have above 70% on all question trainers except #4 I think it was?? I see a lot on all nurses that ^60% is good and ^65% is great...my kaplan instructor told me to just take it etc etc but like comeeeee onnnnn I'm too nervous! Do NOT feel 'ready' but I'm taking the plunge tomorrow!!!

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh:roflmao:

Good luck to those of you who take it tomorrow! I take mine Wednesday but I kinda wish it were tomorrow! I just wanna get it over with so this anxiety can go away. I just took Q7 and got a 62.64% :/ Reviewing it now and tomorrow. Any last minute advice from anyone who passed? I still get questions sometimes where I am like....*** I've NEVER heard of this before. It makes me feel like I dont know enough content! ARGH

Thanks :) That's still a great score! Keep doing your best and see what you can do differently. We can never know everythingggg so that's why I think we get all anxious, cuz we try and know everything. But at the end of the day we have to be confident! (I'm trying to lol) Can't wait to be done with this!!
