Just wondering if anyone out there has applied to early admission for fall 2010 to abington hospital dixon school of nursing?

Can I ask you did you finish your prerequisites?

I am in the night/weekend program and yes you can ask I have everything but the math which I am taking in the spring at Bucks (I have a math but it is older then 5 yrs)

I am also at bucks. I just finished my prereqs this semester. I went in today to get my transcripts so I can take them to dixon. I have been accepted to Gwynedd so at least I have somewhere to go in the fall if abington falls thru. but, congratulations to you!!!

I was done all the classes except for the math last spring I been taking classes since the summer for my bsn I wasn't going to take the math unless I got in because Abington is the only school that wants it within 5 yrs. I'll keep my fingers crossed for u

any words of wisdom for a mom of a five year old little boy who works full time as a specialty retail store manager who needs to change careers...i have 2 sisters that are nurses and a sister in law as well...i have registered for dixon's son info session in april!

I would say that if you are serious about changing, get started! Start getting your ducks in a row in terms of pre-reqs, etc. I wish you the best of luck! Sometimes making the decision to change careers is the hardest part, especially when you have a family!

sit down figure out what you need and make a plan and make a plan and a timeline for everything. Remember your sciences have to be within 5 yrs along with your math. When you think its to hard look at the long term achivement and end result it is worth it for you and your family. Good look.
