I saw your post and I was hoping to reach out to you for tips or question banks you might recommend? I feel defeated and so discouraged after receiving the NOT Passed score report. I studied for my exam for 2-3 months used the APEA Hollier review, read the Leik book, and used Latrina Walden’s Bronze Crash Course. I would appreciate any recommendations. Thank you Look up “Sarah Michelle NP review,” She is legit easy down to earth easy to comprehend without the fluff. Because you have the knowledge.

Leik's tests are based on its content, and I found that a good portion of their tests are knowledge based questions. I also found that Leik's online test bank (the one that comes with the code you get from buying their textbook) has repeat questions from the book and they resused into their other exams. I wouldn't assume that just because you got a low (or high score) on Leik's you are ready. When you get an answer wrong and score low, its important to go over why you got the answer wrong and why you got a low score. Was it because you got a lot of knowledge based questions wrong? Or did you miss the mark on critical thinking-like or scenario-like questions? Focus on what are your weak spots (diagnosing, evaluating, treating, prescribing, etc). I think it's also beneficial to use more than one study resource. Some of the other posters here have good recommendations. I used Leiks, APEA Essentials, and Fitzgerald.
Glial 21 Posts Thanks for responding. I definitely find reviewing the rationales helpful. I'd heard that leik's exam questions are the same as the ones in the book, so I've been using UWorld to study and doing Leik's exams as practice for the real exam, I hadn't gone through their qbanks before their exam. I've purchased Fitzgerald as well, so I'll go through that after exhausting more of leiks tips.
