I also FAILED the AANP FNP exam earlier this month...my weakest area was "assessment", so I plan to go through my health assessment book from NP school and relearn what I may have forgotten or just don't understand. (please do not solicit to buy/sell items per TOS) I took the Fitzgerald online review course ...I'm looking to try something different and hopefully my second time will be the "charm". Any advice/suggestions are welcome!! Thanks in advance!!

I retake the exam Thursday, so I will let you know how helpful Barkley was. I borrowed the CDs from a friend. I also bought the Leik review book on Amazon.... When I failed, I used Fitzgerald online review. Praying for better results this time! Good luck!

I highly recommend the Leik book. I did not take any review classes. I also did the Barclay tests online. A couple of suggestions. Do not study under stress. I would wake up at 4 am and study until 7 am. This was the best time of day for me. Also when taking practice tests, read the last sentence of the question and then the answers. This is something that Leik suggested and really worked. I passed my boards last October 22. You will get there. Don't beat yourself up. All your hard work is worth it. I have been working as a NP for the last 7 months and it is the best job ever. Be kind to yourself.

hey there! I received your private message, but the website will NOT let me respond back to you. (moderator edit) I hope to retest at the end of November, if I'm ready! And any other advice/suggestions you have would be awesome!! Thanks.
