Anyone out there fail the AANP exam and recently re-examine and pass? Feeling very lost and extremely heartbroken. Wondering what others did?
Boston, I have a co-worker that graduated from FNP school this past December. He is planning to take AANP. Although I feel he can pass, I a m curious if it would beneficial for one to schedule yourself for both exams from the get go, if that's possible? Sent from my iPhone using allnurses.com
Absolutely. I did!
My work paid for it. I took the tests two days apart. Only had to study once. And it was extra insurance in case I failed! Plus it's nice to have both credentials.
I failed the AANP in March 2012 and have never attempted again. I had just graduated and had not done any prep. I have since not really wanted to work as a NP but recently had a job offer that I would like to accept. I would be very interested in studying with someone one on one. I took the Barkley Review in 2013 and have all the material from that; but, really feel I need a partner or I'm not going to pass. It has really been to long since I graduated. I would be very interested in studying on a schedule (even daily) and would be willing to make all the calls even if long distance. If you are interested in studying together, please call or text 606-548-0413. Thanks so much.
Ugh, I failed the ANNP and then just took the ANCC today and failed with a 347. Completely bummed and unsure of where to go from there. I have an awesome job waiting for me and don't want to have to tell them I failed
I have the same score this is weird. Did you try again? I am in LA if still looking for study partner by skype I am availabe.
