Hello fellow MD nurses!
I'm just looking to see if there are any prospective Spring 2012 students at AACC? I'm finishing up A&P2 this summer and will be putting my application in in the fall. Anyone take the TEAS yet? Any advice? I'll probably take mine in August when I'm done with classes so I can focus on studying for that as opposed to my other classes.
They have onsite day care at AACC. I haven't looked in to it too much, but it seems reasonably priced and you know that it'll be quality care because it's through the college.
Right now I've got my application in at UMB also. I'm hoping to get in to their traditional BSN program. Given the options of the ADN program at AACC and the BSN program at UMB, I'd go with UMB. But if I get a slot in the hybrid ADN program at AACC, that might work better with my schedule by far. Hmmm… decisions, decisions. I'll wait until I get to that bridge to cross it, though. There's a chance that I might not get in to either program for Spring 2012!

Yeah I looked into the daycare at AACC but the kids have to be potty trained to be able to go there. My boys are 2 1/2 and 1 yrs. old so that won't work for me. Everywhere has a wait list too which sucks!

I'm not quite sure what they plan on doing because at the orientation the director said she thinks they might only do 72 seats or 70 something anyways for spring and then the 88 seats for Fall. Not sure why they wouldn't just do the 88 seats for both Spring in Fall. Maybe it just depends on how many applicants they actually get. She said that they always have more applicants for the Fall term.
