I just thought i'd make a thread for those that are eagerly awaiting to hear decisions from the applications they have made for 2009!

I applied to 7 schools for mostly direct entry MSN programs, i got rejected by one so far :( i hope it's not a trend that'll continue :/

Lets hear about which schools you all applied to! :)

I got into Vandys ACNP program :yeah: I found out on friday which was great because I was already in Nashville for the Vandy open house, which was the next morning. I am very excited, I am moving to Nashville in May.

I just got an acceptance email to ASU psych DNP! I was really nervous, especially after the bad conference call interview! I've wanted this so much and it has been a long 7 month process :hpygrp:

I applied to Duke's MSN-DNP program. Have interview this Friday.

Thanks for replying. I have my fingers crossed (very tightly). The deadlines are earlier for the DNP as compared to the MSN so hopefully I will hear something soon.

I am waiting too. Applied to 4 programs here in the Northeast and should hear by mid April at lastest I guess. This wait is driving me insane!:banghead: I feel like my whole life is in limbo until I can know. I need a new job too, but I can't know what I can reasonably commit too until admitted - but can't afford to wait either. My per diem hours are being cut to the bone because of budget issues and low census.

If only a big white magic envelope would arrive in the mail tomorrow. :bluecry1:

I feel the same way too! Job, classes, living situation is all dependent on the decisions. Which are taking forever. Thanks for posting, its good to know that there are others waiting too. Good luck!

I finally got an interview.:yeah: I was sooo nervous that I probably made a fool of myself. Hopefully Ill hear something soon.

Yay! Congrats! Dont worry, we've all been there, done that. Thats why this is online. I'd get super nervous too. I'm sure the school understands that too.

I'm still waiting too. Keep in mind, with the crappy economy and the fact that more and more nurses are returning to full time employment coupled with the shrinking schollarship loot, prospective students are in a position of power. Unfortunately, this concept has not caught up to those decision makers yet. I think with this round of applicants, and how many seats go unfilled they will quickly discover the need to revamp their process.

Still waiting here.............. one school I applied to said that the letters of notifications would begin going out March 27.... still haven't heard a thing............but the school student page is showing my "award letter" for my financial aid................. the other school isn't supposed to send anything out until April 15..............

I, along with some of you, am in limbo as well........ trying to decide whether or not to go back to 3-12's.......but don't want to do that if I don't get accepted.

Arrrgghhhhh!!!

Finally progress!! Had interviews and they went well. Another school will mail letters mid April, just a couple more weeks!! I felt for so long that I was completely stuck with nothing happening. Such a relief even to have these small bits of progress made.
