Hi everyone. I would just like to hear pieces of advice from experienced nurses. I've recently passed all the exams and interviews from TMC. All I need is the medical/physical exam before I will start training for 1 month. My question is, what can I expect from the training? And anyone here can tell me something about working as a staff nurse in the said hospital? Thanks... This will be my first job (and training) since I only graduated last March 2009. I'm just an excited/anxious fresh RN.

Hi elazul.. Is Medical City is still open for applicants up to this date?? thanks.
I know that they continually conduct pre-employment exams and interviews for those who passed. What I'm not sure is if TMC are open for hiring as of the moment. You see, they will prioriize those who already had their trainings earlier. But they assured me that if one has passed the training, she/he will get a slot. The problem is the waiting time.

Hi. I am a walk-in applicant at TMC and I believe they don't prioritize those with backers/referrals, not unless they probably excelled in the tests and interviews given. I suggest you pass your credentials again, who knows you may get lucky to be considered too. :-)
@elazul: when are you scheduled for training? or are you done with the training? do we get hired immediately post-training? do you have any idea what happens after training?
thanks.
