A little joke for all of us in school...

This is one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. I can relate to grumpy cat COMPLETELY because I always seem to get a "reader" professor EVERY SEMESTER.

That was great! I currently have a "reader" professor :bang head: .. I have my first fundamentals test on Monday any tips or study techniques anyone would like to share? I have been practicing questions, reading all assigned chps (I am going to go back and skim over them), reviewing power points, and lab material. My brain is about to explode!!!!

Go over your course objectives in the syllabus and focus on those parts specifically ;)

Have you asked her how she tests? We all actually ask our professors and have gotten answers ranging from incredibly helpful (where the prof will give us questions and rationales throughout the powerpoints to teach us how to think) to a little bit terrifying (had one professor bluntly state "Read the book. You WILL NOT be happy with your first test grade. You're going to be disappointed. Get used to it."). Also know the source of the test questions. In Fundamentals, our questions are all NCLEX type questions specifically chosen from resources like Saunders and Kaplan and maybe even past exams, I don't remember. In Assessment, the questions are made by the prof himself, so listening to his actual style is most helpful.

Our test are departmental, all fundamentals students take the same test on the same day at the same time! I tried to ask my professor it didn't go to well. She told our class she couldn't tell us much about the test since it is departmental, and that we should read the book and review lab material. Not very helpful =\ The best tip she gave us was to remember Maslow's Hierarchy of needs.

Thank you so,so, SO much for that!! ( I totally needed that, after the day I had today!)
