In my small city in Southern Oregon, there has been a hiring freeze for the last several months. Today, a glimmer of hope. The largest hospital has 7 posted benifited RN positions. Only one is a "new grad" type position, but I am very excited that at least, there seems to be a start back to better times.
I am sure hoping that things are turning around. Have been looking for a job for a new grad with no hope. I have been talking to recruiters which has been helping though. Please keep your fingers crossed. I really need to get working!!!!
Good luck! Incidentally, I'm also from a "small town in southern Oregon" lol...the new grads here have had a HECKUVA time finding jobs!! If you're from the same place as me, I can ONLY imagine! Best of luck and tons of hugs!!
