Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Ok, no one has started this yet, so I guess I will. I start A&P I on January 18th, lab and lecture.

Here are a few good websites I have found...some are basic, some may be more indepth than your instructor asks for.....BUT it gives you a little more to look over before class starts next month! :) ....Never forget the website for your actual book too!!!!!!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU

Thanks, and good luck on the final!! :)

CONGRATS FUN!

We took our lab quiz today- it was only 5 questions for extra credit and I only got a 3. I reversed one side of the ox coxae (I said right- it was left) because when I looked at the skeleton I didn't even bother to see which direction it was facing HA HA HA!!!!!! I felt like such a "bone head" later on. The other one I got wrong was yet another dumb mistake....but it's not a big deal because they are just for extra credit for our next test....we will have another quiz worth 5 extra points next week and then the WHAMMY lab test!

Specializes in ante/postpartum, baby RN.

I made a 96, set the curve, so I got another 100!!! :)

So far, my grades are: 100, 100, 100! :) yeah!!!!

Congrats Fun2Care!

I cant believe this semester is almost over!!!!! :crying2:

One more test and a final :clown:

10 days until I move on to bigger and better things...

MiamiMom....yep....bigger and brighter, A&P II, and for me only in 4 weeks. OMG! I'm scared! :uhoh21: Luckily, our final in A&P I is optional. I'm hoping to do well enough on the last lab exam, and last lecture exam that I don't have to take it! :)

Thanks, LKG6! :)

Thanks BoonersMom. Yep, we all feel like bone heads every now and then....like me writing that there were 14 bones in the hand.....DUH!!! I know that there are 27, if you include the wrist! I feel really stupid, but then again, it was a test, and I can't REALLY expect to make a hundred on everything. (I'm just glad I made the highest grade, and still got my 100.) LOL :p

I'm really afraid about this last exams. It really doesn't seem like we will have enough time to finish. We just started the brain today in lecture, but I'm not sure how much more we have to go with the nervous system. Then, we are supposed to lecture on special senses, and take the test by the 10th. We didn't go to lab last Tuesday, I guess the instructor had something he needed to do. Today, we didn't go to lab again, but we did a double lecture instead. I hope I have enough time to learn all I need for the lab test. I haven't had a chance to take pics of the nervous system lab models yet, but I found some pictures on the internet. I printed those off, and using those as my lab study. We are supposed to disect a sheep's brain, but I don't know if we'll get to that either. We are supposed to have our last lab practical on May 5th. It may have to be pushed back.

Everything has to be finished before May 10th because that is our designated final exam day, and I don't think we can have labs exams that day.

We'll see. Back to studying! :banghead:

Lab final: 05.02

I am so ready to finish this semester!

I am done with my English 1102 (got an A :) ) and also have psychology final Thursday.

We are finishing up Autonomic Nervous system next Wednesday and Lord, am I glad! Have you seen that stuff?! And I thought Nervous system was complicated :uhoh3:

Specializes in Operating Room.

Congrats on your English grade! :)

I have 2 more tests for my developmental psychology, trying to read for it now, well, I took a break to go up to the convenient store to buy a monster assault energy drink LOL ...and for A&P 1, one lab and one lecture left. I think I have the spinal tracts down, and the cross-section of the spinal cord. As for the actual lecture part of it all????? Don't ask! lol

I wish the library stayed open late around me. I think before I start nursing school, I'm going to search for a open late library around. :uhoh3:

Good luck on all of your finals! :)

My test on the ANS is tomorrow ( and PNS and Special Senses).

When we first started the ANS I was sooooo confused on pre-ganglionic/ganglionic/blah blah but it all came together pretty quick! Hope it does the same for you!
