A&P 1 Spring 08

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hi y'all! Anybody taking A&P 1 this coming spring semester? I'm trying to get as many pre-req's out of the way as possible and could use a study buddy or 2! Thanks! :)

BTW my neighbor got into 201 this semester at MCC by showing up on the first day and taking a spot someone had dropped. So you should have a shot at that.

What's killing me is that most of my classes from NAU were too old to accept...they wanted 5 years or earlier. Is anyone else having this problem????

My english, psy, humanities, and math transferred.....but the science i have to start over???

This happened to me as well -- I was able to keep my credits for English, Psych and Sociology but I have to re-take Nutrition.

So frustrating isn't it?? lol..but i understand their reasons. I would believe having an updated science course is better than going with what you took years before. Oh well.

Registered today for bio 181 and chem. At least those will be out of the way and i can start into the other courses required prior to applying.

i'm still hopeful for applying in sp'09

;);)

To everyone who's taking a&p this spring...good luck!!

Is anyone else in the same boat as me?

I'm taking A&P I this spring, but I also just got accepted to the nursing program so I'll be taking that along with Nursing Process I. They are co-reqs at my school but I think most people take A&P before they start the nursing classes :chair:

Now that the shock is wearing off, I'm wondering what I've gotten myself into....

Oh yeah, and I also have to take nutrition as an intersession course, it's only 2 weeks long. That's going to be fun...did I mention I have 2 toddlers?! :uhoh3:

Hi LuckyMe2g! Bless your heart! At least you were accepted into the program and don't have to stress about that:).

To everyone - I just registered today and am taking A&P 1 w/ the lab and 2 cj courses to finish up that degree. Hooray!!! I feel like I just took my first real step to becoming a nurse:yelclap:!

Hi Lucky,

I have to take A&P I as a pre-req and complete it before applying. You are lucky! I wish I could start next semester!!!!

We take A&P II as a core class in the program. (or sooner) I will be taking it in the Fall while waiting to hear about starting Spring '09.

I'm in with the A&P for Spring 2008 along with Microbio and Sociology. I'm up for help and support here too...good luck everyone. Thankfully, at Middlesex County it's not a pre-requisite but a co-requisite, so I'm kind of ahead of the game right now.

I'm currently registered for A&P I for Spring. As long as I pay the bill by 12/9 I'm in!! But see my "Human Bio or A&P" post.

Hey ya'll! Just wanted to share a tidbit of helpful info...I saw on another thread that the website getbodysmart.com was very helpful for studying. I checked it out and it has diagrams, quizzes, etc. for every part of anatomy and physiology. Awesome site, hope it helps everybody!

Scroll through the Fall '07 sticky for A&P I. There are lots of good sites mentioned in those posts! Good luck!

I'm registered for AP1 in Spring too! I am also taking Nutrition (on campus) and Eng Lit and Intro to statistics online.

I can't wait to start, but on the other hand I am so exhausted from the Fall semester that I can use the break!!
