A&P quiz tomorrow!

Published

Everyone please say a prayer for me tonight! I have my first test in A&P I tomorrow... well technically later today because I've stayed up past midnight stressing. Lol I don't know why I do this... I know everything I need to know... I've been studying non-stop... I guess I'm just nervous I'll go blank or something. I'm probably just being silly. I'm a good test taker and I don't usually freeze up, so really I should be fine. I just can NOT stop worrying! Quizzes are only 8-10 questions, but there are hundreds of things we need to know! If I forget two things, that's a six out of eight, which is a C. I dunno why I'm worrying, I just am. After the first one I will be fine, it will be routine even if it is waaaay more material. I really can't believe I'm losing sleep over it... tell me I'm not the only one that does this!

All right... sorry for the semi-meaningless post. I'm going to get a good night's sleep now... hopefully in the morning all my fears will go away!

Good luck! My first lab exam is tomorrow. It is worth 15 points. Our entire semester is worth 500 points so it takes >=450 points to get an A. I've already lost one point because of having to miss the first lab.

Wishing both previous posters all the best on your quizzes & tests. I know you will both do great! I start my A&P 1 class tomorrow at 1pm , let GOD be w/us all in our efforts!!

Thanks, ya'll. Good luck to us all! I'm heading off to school in a few minutes. I will let ya'll know how it goes. :wink2:

School started on the 18th of Aug. We have a quiz at the beginning of every class. Already had a paper due and a lab assignment due. First exam is scheduled for the 10th for both lecture and lab. This is a difficult class.

Good, luck guys, I start on Saturday. Let us know how it turns out.

I made an A!:D I feel so accomplished... even though it was the first (and probably easiest) quiz. Hope everyone else did well. Good luck to those who haven't started yet... it's really not that bad!

Congrats! I got a D lol. It's the worst I have ever done on a test.

I said the epidermis was superior to the dermis (answer is superficial).

I called a skin layer Keratinized Stratified Squamous Epithelial Tissue when he actually want the name of the skin layer Stratum Granulosum.

I mixed up an eccrine gland and a sebaceous glad on two slides.

I forgot to put ciliated on Ciliated Pseudostratified Columnar Epithelial Tissue even though the note said "what is this ciliated tissue"?

I called the visceral peritoneum "viseral perineum."

I think I got the rest correct. So 9/15 points. A big fat D. I can miss 50 points during the entire semester and still get an A. This plus the day of lab I missed means I am down 7 points.

We have been told this is the most difficult exam, though.
