I am thinking of taking A&P online in the Fall. I have to come home and relearn everything from lecture class anyway through YouTube. Has anyone taken this class online before? Did you regret it?? Advice please....
A&P 2 is the course I'm speaking of.....

I wouldn't unless you absolutely had to. As in, some time, financial, or traveling constraints. Even wit those constraints, I would still only recommend online A&P, especially 2, online. Find a way and take it in person. There is no substitution for in person lecture in my opinion.
Thanks Floridatrail!!!
No problem! Good Luck!

I took 201 online and am currently finishing up 202 online. I actually like it but it all depends on how the class is structured. We have tutorials to watch and a Dissection software. Its definitely different b/c you have to be very disciplined and good time management but I'm taking 4 other classes and still can do the work. Do it online if you have no other choice but expect just as much studying as a reg class. Good luck!
We can't take the lab part online!!! So I would just do the lecture online. Thanks for your advice I have heard that its doable and requires the same amount of study time.

I am finishing A&PI online now with an A. It can definitely be done, and it worked better for me to do it online, but there are a couple qualifiers.
First, I had a study buddy who was also taking it online. We communicated and studied together regularly.
Second, my school has a great health science tutoring department that held weekly workshops to go over the material I was covering online. (the workshop mirrored the subject matter of the week for online AND in class students). If I was stuck on a the material I went to the workshop that week or made appt with tutor.
Third, I am motivated, disciplined and proactive so I found other resources (you tube rocks) and generally dug until I was satisfied I knew the material.
I loved doing it online, but am NOT taking A&PII online. I think the physiology is so much more understandable when a teacher teaches it. My study buddy is taking the same class so our groove of studying will continue. :)

This will be my first time taking A&P II online. Years ago I took both parts in the classroom. Of course, this was before I had a husband and son. Also, I wasn't working. I will still be teaching and I wanted a class to see how it goes.
Ummnasim...hopefully all goes well for you. Are you taking your classes in the summer?
No way!!!!!
Ummnasium... How was A&P online????
Hi Nurse2b7337- I wont be taking A&P online until Fall. I'm sorry:(. I signed up with same lab instructor I am taking this summer so at least I will be familiar with one instructor.
