Hey everyone!!
Welcome, Welcome and a big "Congrats" to each and everyone of you!! :balloons:
Let's look at it this way. We're halfway there!! Better yet, I keep hearing that Part II is much easier than Part I [let's not talk about lab just yet though! ].
When does everyone start? Class starts for us on the 25th.
Enjoy your break and let's get this bad boy started!
Oooh... we almost got sent to the back pages!Well, I'm excited about A & P II. I took A&PI in the spring and took the summer off because I was getting married in July... and I'm hoping that all the stuff I learned in the spring didn't get shoved out of my head by all that bridal stuff!
Anybody else ready to get through this class and on to nursing classes? I'm so impatient these days...
Happy Monday, all!
I am in the same boat. I took the class in the spring and I really did not want to take the class over the summer. I heard the summer class is hard, not sure why. So I took three classes over the summer. It was the easiest three classes ever.
I bought the A&P for dummies book last year andI have been looking through that. I tried going over the book and just got bored.
Congratulations on the wedding. :yelclap:

Thanks! He's my dream come true.
The summer classes at my school are generally harder only because they're trying to fit a lot of material in a lot less time - I think the fall and spring semesters are 16 weeks, whereas the summer semester is 11. Take a class that's already pretty tough in the "normal" length semesters and then cram it into a shorter time period? Nah. I'll wait. I took Microbiology last summer and thought it would be the death of me, but by the grace of God I walked out of there with an A-!:w00t:
We just finished our second week too. Like most of you we have covered the endocrine system and blood...will be starting the heart on Tues. In lab we are going over the heart model Tues and then we dissect a pig's heart on Thurs. Should be fun!
I am also taking Micro and Psych: Lifespan Dev. I took A&PI this summer and so far this semester is a breeze compared to that. I was so worried about taking micro and A&PII together this semester but I don't think it is going to be a problem. Both classes seem very easy for me. I think maybe anything seems easy after having an intense science during the summer...after that you are prepared for anything!
Good luck to everyone!
what are you guys covering? i'm finishing up my second week too. we finished blood and now starting the heart. we get to dissect a sheep's heart on monday. fuuun! :)
im so jealous!!!

I start the 22nd. The good news is, the lecture note pack is much thinner, and we get to use the same book (saved some big bucks there). I hope I get the same instructor. They just have "instructor tba" on the registration form. The instructor I had before was so cool-she is a biologist, and added in a whole lot of extras.
Got your index cards yet, everyone??:)
