My question to you all is... Did my advisor and I make a mistake when making my class schedule. You guys are talking about how difficult those classes are. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Don't do it! My community college where I'm taking prerequisites offers a condensed semester of A&P1 to complete in the first half of the semester with A&P2 completed in the last half. I have heard nothing but horror stories from the people who chose to take the acclerated classes. Also, my school requires written permission from the Dean of Math and Science to take micro with A&P2. That is how strongly they advise not to take those two classes together. I know you don't have to work or have kids but do yourself a favor and just take A&P1 and 2 in separate semesters. My A&P professor recommended taking Micro after completing both A&P classes. You know yourself best as well as your abilities. I wish you well in whatever avenue you choose!
Glad you found your classes. Just remember to do things at your own pace, since everyone's situation or circumstances are different (i.e. kids, etc).
I remember when I did my pre-req's, I took a 4-week A&P I followed by a 4-week A&P II alongside 8-week Micro in a single semester. There were no other spots for 16-weeks and I had no other choice. So when I saw this thread title, I nearly shivered.

Making a trip up to my college today. Going to be discussing this semesters classes. I looked online and all the A&P I are all filled. I may have to broaden my prereqs by a semester but if that means more points to get into a nursing school then i'm all for it.
