  1. I am so happy for you! When do you start working?
  2. Don't listen to those who say "don't study." Especially when you said that you weren't really comfortable with the math. If you decide to study the manual, work on the ones that you are weakest in and go from there.
  3. That's not a bad score if you didn't study at all. Just imagine if you did study the manual and took the practice tests. You seem really smart.
  4. If you want a 100% on your teas test I suggest you study the manual because the guys who created the test also created the book you have. So all of the content on the real test can be found in the book. It may not be word for word, but the content is still similar. Studying the teas manual is definitely worth studying if you want to pass, because you will actually have a feel for it in the book and you will see similarities on the test as well. But if you are extremely smart and confident then you don't have to study the teas book. It's better to be safe than sorry.
  5. I personally didn't order the tests, I only use the book, but yes the official teas v book definitely helps out because the guys who make the test also made that book as well, so all of the content on the test will be found in the text. It may not be verbatim, but the content is all relevant.
  6. Just get the most comfortable walking shoes you can get.
  7. You can work in nursing homes to gain experience but generally, you get a lot more experience in hospitals.
  8. Glad to hear that you are going for something that you want, and not just settling for something you don't really care about. I know you can do it if you put your mind to it.
  9. I am so glad that you stepped up to the plate to go for what you want in life. There is so much power and potential in you that you have no idea. You just have to position yourself in a different way so you can see what's possible.
  10. Probably in the past, but since getting into the nursing program is much competitive now these days, your chances of getting in with those grades are very slim. Just trying to be honest.
  11. You are not going to get into the nursing program with those low grades. I am not trying to be mean, and I am being honest here. Especially nowadays since everyone wants to get into the nursing program and there are limited seats. If all of those seats are filled with straight A students with a 90% or higher on their teas what do you think is your chance of getting in? Just trying to help you out.
  12. Keep at it, I believe that you will become a nurse one day.
  13. I suggest you worry about finding your significant other after you become a nurse. But hey, it can happen while you are still a student.
  14. Speak to your adviser. Other than that, you should really be getting all A's in all of your classes because now, the nursing program is really competitive.
  15. Congradulations! Are you in the nursing program now?
