I found out the answer to my question and you're right about it too! But thankfully the colleges I'm trying to apply to all require TEAS. :) Congratulations on getting that score on your TEAS! I will need more than a weekend to study because I'm kind of a slow learner. I have the ATI but I may need to buy other practice books too. I need a lot of practice especially with the math problems. ;( but thank you!

Congratulations on scoring very high on your TEAS! I have the ATI book but not the McGraw-Hill. I heard a lot of people use this with the TEAS book. Did you purchase it? If so, where can I purchase one? Thanks!! :)

Hi guys, I'm planning on applying to nursing school here in SoCal. I'm done with all my pre-requisites but the problem is that my gpa in my science classes is just 2.3. I've read that every school here requires you to have a gpa of at least 2.5 in your pre-requisites (science classes). I can't retake any of my science class as I already have retaken one of my A&P. Also, they only allow you to have one repeated class. Should I still send my applications to the schools that I want to apply to even though I already know that I didn't make the cut for one of their requirements? I'm so discouraged right now and I'm not sure if I should do it or I'm just wasting my time. Did anyone of you were in the same situation as I am right now but still managed to get into the program? Thank you!

Hi guys! I'm just wondering what are the books that you used to study for your TEAS/HESI. Would you give me some book recommendations that have helped you passed the test? Also, one more question, if the school you're applying to have different entrance exams (some required HESI, and some are TEAS), do you have to take both of them or will they consider/accept which ever one you have? Thank you very much for this answer! It's very helpful! I'm now looking at the colleges here in LA. I want to try to apply at cc for their ADN. My gpa in natural sciences doesn't make the cut gpa for BSN, so that discouraged me to give it a try. I'll try every community colleges here in LA and hopefully I'll get into at least one of it. Hi everyone! I'm planning on going back to school but I don't know where to begin with. I want to get into a nursing program in one of the nursing schools here in LA. I've been out of school for 1 year now but I have my pre-requisites completed already (out of state). However, I haven't taken my TEAS yet. I didn't apply for fall 2014, so I'm hoping that I will get into the program by Fall '15. For the mean time, I want to retake my A&P in hopes that it'll boost up my chances to get into the program. I don't know who I should ask help with when it comes to starting applying to any schools. Should I go to my local community college and start my way there? or should I go directly to the schools that I want to apply to? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you guys in advance!!

I'm not into any program yet but I have my AS degree in Gen Studies and that includes all my pre-reqs.

Congratulations on getting into nursing program! I'm from Va too and finished all my pre-reqs at NVCC, but just moved to Ca. Can I ask what school did you get accepted to? I was trying to get to GMU for their Nursing program. :)

Hi! I'm currently out of school but I'm thinking of going back next year into nursing school. I have taken all the pre-reqs for nursing. My main worry is that I got C's in all of my science classes except for Microbiology and my GPA is only 3.2. I have A's and B's for my other classes, science is my only weakness (How ironic? right?). I want to try to get into any nursing school here in La, but having C's in my major classes worries me a lot. My credits are also from another state so this as well discourages me to get into any nursing schools. Did anybody here have C's in their science classes but still managed to get into the nursing program? Thank you!
