My advice for you is stay there first, for another 2 years. Me I'm planning to stay because we are going to transfer in a bigger hospital and nowadays there tension in middle east maybe it's difficult for us to be deployed.

Thank you mi_jaded, yes you are right about that. I think I should also stay :)) we also have hospital here maybe 50 beds but still it's not open and I don't know if it will because they are just saying it will open but until now I'm still waiting. My contract was there in the 50 beds hospital. Can you tell me why you will transfer to a big hospital?

Hello. I was given a medical referral yesterday and went to POEA earlier for some sort of orientation and they give out offer of appointment to chosen applicants. I was taken aback because the salary offer was 3150 sr despite of my 9 year experience and being assigned in a special area. Is there a way that the salary will be increased once I got there in KSA? Thanks.

For farrziRN, we are going to transfer to a bigger hospital. This was planned 10 years ago. They built a new hospital same name but 150 bed capacity. So inshallah I'll just wait for that, where are you now?

Yes, there is a high possibility that your salary will increase upon signing of your official contract with the hospital where you will be assigned. Aside from that, the offer written in the OA (offer of appointment) is only the basic salary, which will definitely increase once you're in Saudi. Just remember to bring all your original documents, credentials, and relevant certificates that proves your qualification.

But, there is also another possibility..it might not be that easy if you will be assigned in a hospital where the management isn't so good (with lazy, idiot, information inaccurate personnel). Many cases of salary inaccuracy happened already in many MOH employees..but at least there's an assurance that your salary will not go below your basic. Good luck^__^

Guys I need help! Actually it's been a long time since I've visited this site. Before applying I'm always updated with this site..

Anyways. We have the same situation I am under MOH, working in a 30-50 bed capacity hospital everything is free except internet ehehe. My job offer in ph is 2250 since I have only 6 mos in a tertiary hospital there. Then when I reached KSA they didn't increase it until now I'm just receiving 2700sr. I applied for a 20% increase already but increase will happen after I sign my next contract probably it will become 3200-3400 something. My problem is, new nurses came here and their salary is higher than mine although they have only 1 yr experience around 3700 sr. I feel so down every time new nurses arrive and their salary is bigger than mine although we have the same work here. I need some ideas whether I should sign my next contract in April or I will just exit and reapply again in SRO. By the way does someone know when is the next delegation coming?

Stay and see if your salary will increase on your next contract. If not, just try to endure another year or two so you can complete a 2 or 3-year experience. If you have at least 3 years experience, you'll be better off that hospital because you'll have more opportunities to choose from. ?

Thanks Lyfer... my area of assignment is Eman hosp in Jeddah.. I hope this institution has a good feedback regarding my concern.. Is the contract renewable for a year or do I have to finish the 2 yr term stated in the OA? Honestly I still have qualms over my deployment in KSA because of my pending application in Australia...but I need to find a way to earn more and save money because of the higher cost of application process in AUS. Thanks..

I submitted my docs to POEA last Dec 3,2010 and heard that SRO-POEA will be having a delegates interview maybe end of April to first week of May. My friend was already informed of her interview sched but unfortunately up to now I haven't received any text yet. I don't know when they will inform me, that's why I'm bothered. Has anyone had the same experience as mine. Please advise what to do because I've been waiting this for long. Thanks!

Is it Eman or Iman? I tried to research about the hospital but didn't got lucky to find a relevant info. What keeps on appearing on google is Al Iman General Hospital, which is in Riyadh and not in Jeddah.

Let's just hope for the best=)

Hi there, I just want to ask about the salary offer for 1 year experience like me, I'm still wondering if I'm going to confirm my scheduled interview on May 5, SRO texted me that I have my interview and exams on May 5, I was hired last February at KKUH. My only problem is I've heard that you will be assign in remote areas, thank you guys, newbie here...

@JSDM.RN

What is KKUH? Is it King Khalid University Hospital?

I'm a bit confused with your question but I will try my best.

Yes, there are possibilities to be assigned in remote areas around the Kingdom if you're under MOH. Successful nurse applicants are dispersed to different dispensaries, secondary, and tertiary hospitals that are under MOH.

@lyfer. I also googled for Eman hospital which is by the way in Riyadh, my mistake. It was unfortunate that I also have the same result, no EMAN HOSPITAL. But it was indicated in my OA. Anyways, I suddenly had a change of mind that I already dropped my application in KSA. I heard that the visa bulletin in the USA is around Aug 2005, and my PD is May 2006, and I also have pending applications in AHPRA in AUS. Hope one of these will push through. Thanks a lot for the response for all my queries! More power!
