Register Today!- Jan 16, '07 by RN37Hi! Hospitals here will not consider your US license, what is important for them is you have the experience, you have enough knowledge and you can easily adapt to the environment. Why not continue working there for at least a year to learn more. I dont want to discourage you but this place is not as good as you are expecting, so be prepared.NurseCubanitaRN2b likes this.

Okay I'll just focus myself and wait for my petition in the US, I just felt sad with this retrogression issue
. US is the right place for nurses w/ or w/o experience, as long as you passed the exams needed and you are willing to work in a long term care or a rehab facilities, and i am more than willing to work there due to limited hospital experience. Mabuhay USA!!!
- Jan 17, '07 by lawrence01Hospitals are willing to petition (not necessarily sponsor) even w/o much exp. or even none at all. Some hospitals even like it more if you haven't done any training or took a nursing job in the Philippines because they won't have to "re-train" you; the nurse doesn't have to "unlearn" anything she picked up.
They like to train you from scratch w/c is a lot easier than having the nurse unlearn some things.
You won't get this if going through agencies in the Phil. though. They will tell you otherwise.pirataRN likes this. - Jan 18, '07 by LDnurse7Hey RN37
Thanks for the info, I have emailed the Dubai centre for special needs but not heard back from them yet? Considering phoning them tomorrow. From what you have said you do not seem keen on nursing in Dubai, is this just your place of work or everywhere. - Jan 18, '07 by LDnurse7:spin: Hey RN37
