Thought I might start a post to communicate between those of us who have applied for the May 2011 Cohort. Feel free to join in and let everyone know if you have heard anything. I would imagine we will not hear much until December as we get closer to grades for the fall classes.

If you are lurking from a prior cohort, we (ok at least I) would love to hear your experiences (both good and bad) and how you might have approached things differently.

OMG---just got a call from Sue--I got in!!! Apparently I was 1st on the wait list and one person has already declined (must be you Cari001). So I got picked up. I am screaming, crying, dancing with excitement. I honestly can't remember being this happy before.

Cari---my! I feel like I owe my whole world to you. I had no idea what my position on the waitlist was, but because of your other plans, a dream has come true for me. THANK YOU! I don't know you, but I am pretty sure I'll never forget you now that have a "name" to put with an amazing opportunity that I've gotten.

I actually had put a call into Sue earlier today to see what position I was on the waitlist and how I could improve my chances for next cohort. She returned my call about 45 min ago. I thanked her for returning the call and asked how the waitlist process works---she said I didn't need to worry about it because I was FIRST on the waitlist and someone had already declined. I cried. I actually cried on the phone with her. Perhaps I should be embarrassed, but I'm not!

This is amazing! I can't wait to meet you all! We are classmates!

YAY!!!!! Fruitcandy I am so happy for you! Do not thank me.. .you did it yourself! SO great you got the spot. I'm sure UWO is an amazing program - if it wasn't so expensive, I would have accepted. GOOD LUCK to all of you! I'm sure we'll be talking more in the future with questions with nursing stuff. :) Congrats again!!!

Hey everyone - I started a Facebook group so that we can keep in touch until our "classroom" is set up. If you would like to join, it is UWO Accelerated Nursing May 2011 Cohort. You should be able to find it just by putting that in the search feature. I have made this a closed group.

Please share this with others that you learn are in our cohort. I was going to send an email to Sue and see if she could send out an email inviting all once the deposit date has past.

Hi all, could any of you help me out with what to expect during the interview? What kind of questions were you asked? Any help would be greatly appreciated! 
to those of you who are almost done, any advice? What would you do differently and what really, really help you?
