So I made the decision to go with for my BSN and everything is all set to start on February 1st. Just wondering who else is starting in February? Or anyone the started in the recent months let me know how its going. :-) I have a nervous/excited energy about starting. Im hoping to be done by the end of 2014 and have 33CU's to go.

Good luck to you all! I got my BSN at in December, 2012, and now I'm hoping to finish my MSN in leadership this next December.

Hi, I haven't started yet but hope to start May 1. I'm currently employed and I know one of the requirements for is to be employed. However, does it matter if you stop working while in school? Does it affect finishing the program?

Thanks!

I have just started the application process and I'm hoping to be ready for the August 1st start date.

Best wishes to all of us as we move to the next level of Nursing Education. I am a full time employee with a family as well but with motivation, determination, and discipline I am hopeful that I will succeed. My goal is to start the BSN now and pending how well that goes will either request to do the RN-MSN Track, or complete the BSN and start the MSN Nursing Education Track.

Let us stick together for the journey ahead!!!...Go Nurses!!!

Starting in August for the RN to MSN program I have 67 credits total and would love to complete it in 4 terms! Looking for start buddies too :)

I'll be starting the RN to BSN program in August. I wanted to start in July but it a while for them to receive my transcripts.

I recently applied to ' s RN-BSN program. Just started sending transcripts and did FAFSA. My admission rep/ counselor said that I don't have to do the Readiness Assessment. She said they no longer require it for that program. Has anyone else been told this? because I got yet another email telling me to complete it as one of the next steps in admission process. I'm gonna email her anyhow but since it's the weekend I don't know if I'll hear back before Monday .

I was told the same thing about the assessment. I was happy for that news.

The Readiness Assessment is not required if you hold an valid RN license. I have just confirmed that with my Admission Advisor as well.

Thank you for the feedback! CoffeeGeekRN and Mycall2nsg how far are you in the admission process? Have your transcripts been evaluated yet? If so, when do you plan on starting?

I have received email that 2 of my three transcripts have been received. For this week my hope is that all three will be received and at least the evaluation process will be started. I am hoping to start on August 1st.

NurseAshley...I took the RA even though it was not required...my Adm Advisor said I passed all 4. Thought I would challenge myself. After all, I have not been in school for some time now. The only other studying I've

done since Nursing School was for my Certification Exam. I am really anxious about starting but I believe that with decision, determination and motivation I will be just fine...how are you feeling about going back to school?

Good job! I am so excited to start! I was notified today that 2 of my 3 transcripts were received by . The third will be delivered by snail mail, so hopefully they will get it this week. I was aiming at a September 1st start date, however if I am able to begin August 1st I will. I actually just finished my ADN program last month, and became licensed as an RN this month. ( I have 3 years experience as an LPN, and am employed as an RN by the same employer). I really wanted to jump back into school soon, while I'm still in 'school mode'. I'm nervous, because I have never done an online college class, and with WGU's new/contemporary course style, I'm not completely sure what to expect. I wonder how long the transcript evaluations will take?
