WGU RN-BSN 34 credits left

With 34 credits needed to graduate, would this be doable in 6 months?

It all boils down to how much time you will put in. If you are motivated and ambitious then I would say it is possible. You never know what life may throw at you during that time. Go in with an optimistic mindset and do the best you can without draining yourself. If you complete it in 8-10 months, is it really the end of the world? Good luck!

Yes, it is possible. I did 50 in just over three months. But it takes a LOT of your time to get that many credits done - if you have it, go for it!

My advice to those who want to finish in less than one term is to not divulge your plans to your program mentor. Just finish the coursework quickly.

If, at the outset, you tell your program mentor that you want to finish the degree in one six month term, the mentor may do everything possible to slow you the hell down. Therefore, just earn your credits and move quickly. Don't announce that you're completing all your credits in one term.

@ FeatherzRN, Did you work during that time? Full-time? Part-time? Just curious, as I'm strongly considering 's program & would LOVE to complete in that time frame, but I do work full time.

Based on her posting history and my recollection, FeatherzRN worked full time while completing the program.

People have done it. Most people don't. You really have to be motivated, a quick learner, and have a life that cooperates in order to get through fast. A lot of people start off intending to do one semester, and end up taking 2-3.

I would not suggest going into it if you are absolutely restricted to one semester by money or some other limitation.

If you do want to try for one semester, get C228 out of the way early so you can start C229 and have time to get hours.

I have 34 left as well. Starting 12/1, excited and nervous at the same time. I am hoping to go through Biochemistry, Statistics and Nutrition as quickly as possible...

Do you have an idea of which you are tackling first?

Yes, I worked full time - I worked in an outpatient clinic M-F, 8-4:30.

I have similar hours... I'm starting on December first, how many hours per day did you devote to ?

I have to take 40 credits.

Honestly, with my schedule and 50 CU to do, I pretty much gave up on everything but work, school, and maybe some minimal amounts of sleep. I finished in 3.5 months but my house was overtaken by weeds and my poor husband thought his name was "GoAwayIHaveToStudy!!".

For my MBA, I went down to part time - still did it in three months, but my dishes were clean and my hubby didn't run away in terror if he saw me studying. :)
