I have a question for those who have been through the admission process at .Is it a must that they have all of your transcripts from every college you have attended or can they just use your transcript from the college you got your Nursing degree at? They received my Excelsior college transcript but now they are asking for all of the others from colleges I have attended before. One of the schools I attended is no longer open and another have a hold on my records, what am I to do in this situation? All advice appreciated. TIA

Tiffany

They have held up my app for almost two years because one school won't send the transcripts and they never brought up the five year rule until recently. I told them I wasn't using the old records but they insist. With the repeated info that they are "competitive", I believe they want the old records to find the reason to deny admission. But why I don't know.

sigh..i am going through the same thing with college of st. scholastica rn-bs. i e-mailed the program coordinator yesterday and has not responded yet. i don't want to include one college because i only took one course back when i was in high school. i have no use for this class that is why i don't even mention it in the application but when the admissions from college of st. scholastica saw it as "tranferred" in my other transcript, they e-mailed me and asked me to send it as well. is second on my list if this one does not work out and i really don't want to send them all the transcripts. i may have to but it will delay my starting date.

good luck tiffany. it sucks when all you want to do is start this bsn thing and get it over with even though i won't get any pay increase from my current job.

Did the same thing to me. Sent the Excelsior transcipt, paid the app fee and then they wanted everything including my CLEP transcript. VERY time consuming, expensive, and annoying. I graduated in January and I am still not ready for an April start with them. UGH !! I was told that you can request a waiver for any classes that you don't want included in your admission assessment. BUT, once you do that you can't go back an add after your start date with .
